  6. ConDir is an alternative to the built-in DLG file areas.  As you may have
  7. noticed, some CD ROMs have no effective way of adding them to the DLG file
  8. areas.  ConDir solves this problem.
  9.  
  10. If you have ever used a directory utility of some sort (DirOpus, SID, etc.),
  11. you have a good idea of what ConDir does.  The only difference is that it
  12. works through the CON: (or RAW: actually) window with either an ANSI or RIP
  13. user interface.

  18. NOTE:  Version 1.4 was an internal BETA version.

  20. *  Screen set to raw internally making the cursor keys perform a heck
  21. of a lot better.  Now, you can hold down any of the cursor keys without
  22. trashing the screen.  Wish I would have found the rawcon() function
  23. earlier.

  25. *  Cursor keys can now be used instead of the keypad.  All the normal
  26. kypad functions are still active.

  28. *  MAJOR bug caught.  I'm hoping this is the one that caused all the
  29. various problems I was having.  Actually, I don't even know how the
  30. program was working at all.  I've been running betas of 1.4 for about
  31. a month now and they seem awefully stable.  Only had one crash I think
  32. when a user tried to mark a file in the aminet game/misc dir, but I
  33. believe this was fixed in a later revision.

  35. *  Proper return codes added for both ConDir and the MakeConfig
  36. utility.
